  • 2 oz grapefruit soda

  • Optional: Chili powder or tajin for a spiced rim

Instructions

  1. Chill the jarrito: Rinse the clay cup with cold water to help maintain the drink’s cool temperature.
  2. Prepare the citrus juices: Squeeze the grapefruit, orange, and lime to get fresh juice, which gives the drink its vibrant flavor.
  3. Combine the ingredients: Mix the citrus juices, a pinch of salt, and tequila in the clay cup. Stir well to blend the flavors.
  4. Add ice and soda: Fill the cup with ice, then pour in the grapefruit soda for added sweetness and fizz.
  5. Garnish and serve: If desired, rim the cup with chili powder or tajin for extra spice. Add a citrus wedge as a garnish.
